Questions about this item

How do I install the GE76 Raider bottom case on an MS-17K1 chassis, and which step causes alignment issues?

Remove all perimeter screws, lift the old case, align the new bottom case screw holes with the MS-17K1 standoffs, then tighten in a cross pattern; the step often missed is reseating the battery connector before final screw-down.

What maintenance or replacement will the GE76 Raider 11UH bottom case need over time?

The plastic bottom case may develop stress cracks near hinge mounts or screw bosses after repeated thermal cycles; replace the case if cracks appear or if screw threads strip during servicing.
