Replacement Hinge Brackets for Latitude 7420 2-in-1

This left-and-right hinge bracket pair is designed for the Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1 series including the 7420S and E7420S models. It replaces worn or damaged original hinges to restore smooth lid movement and stable screen positioning. The kit suits repair technicians and owners who want to extend the usable life of their convertible laptop.

Black Metal Construction Matches OEM Finish

Each bracket is built from black metal that matches the factory colour and mounting points, so the repair blends in once the display assembly is reattached. The direct-fit design uses the existing screw holes, avoiding any drilling or adaptation during installation. Buyers needing hinges for a different chassis size or a non-convertible model will need a separate part.

Questions about this item

How are the left and right hinges secured to the Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1 chassis?

The pair includes both left and right hinge brackets that bolt directly to the existing mounting points on the Latitude 7420 2-in-1, replacing the original 0J0D64 and 08FTGT arms.

Will this hinge set fit the standard clamshell Latitude 7420 or only the 2-in-1 variant?

The kit is listed for the Latitude 7420 2-in-1 and the 7420S/E7420S convertible models; it is not confirmed for the non-convertible clamshell version.
