Compatible Laptop Lid Cover

This white top lid LCD back cover carries part number M08898-001 and fits HP Pavilion 15-EG and 15-EH models. It replaces a cracked or discoloured original lid without changing hinge points or display cables. The part is supplied new and matches the factory colour and texture.

Upgrade From Damaged Original

Owners with a bent, scratched or broken lid can restore the notebook’s appearance and structural rigidity by swapping this cover. The repair is worthwhile when the screen assembly still functions and only the outer shell needs replacement. Buyers needing a bottom case or internal brackets should look for those parts separately.

Questions about this item

Will the M08898-001 top lid align with the hinge brackets on my 15-EG chassis?

The cover is moulded for the Pavilion 15-EG and 15-EH series, so its hinge bosses and screw posts match the original factory locations on those models.

Which screws must be removed before the old lid can lift away?

Remove every perimeter screw visible on the bottom case and the two hinge screws under the display bezel; missing the hidden hinge screws is the step most people overlook.
