Nachtmann Sphere 12" Charger Plate Clear Set of 2

Crystal charger plates for formal dining

The Nachtmann Sphere 12" charger plates arrive as a pair of clear crystal pieces designed to anchor each place setting at celebratory meals. Their faceted surfaces catch and refract light, adding visual depth to the table without overwhelming the dinnerware placed above them.

Hand-wash alternative when dishwasher unavailable

Although the crystal is dishwasher safe, the intricate cut pattern can trap detergent residue in tight grooves if the machine cycle is short or the water is hard. A gentle hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth ensures every facet stays brilliant without risk of etching over repeated cycles.

Machine-made crystal resists daily handling

The plates are produced from lead-free crystal using automated pressing, giving each piece consistent wall thickness and a smooth rolled rim that resists chipping during stacking and storage. The flat base sits steadily on linen or wood, and the 12-inch diameter covers standard dinner plates while leaving room for cutlery placement.
