Product Purpose

The Nakedcellphone Grid Case + Belt Clip Holster Combo is a two-piece protective system built for the Motorola RAZR 5G flip phone (model XT2071, 2020). It suits owners who want a slim hard shell that stays on the device and a dedicated belt holster for quick, hands-free carry.

Thermals, Noise and Power

The rigid rubberized plastic shell and holster add no active components, so they generate no heat, draw no power and produce no noise. The phone remains fully functional with all buttons, ports, camera and speaker accessible while the case is fitted.

Build and Daily Use

The case uses two hard polycarbonate pieces with a powder-coated, ribbed grid pattern for enhanced grip. The holster holds the folded phone face-outward, lined with non-abrasive microfibre, and its ratchet clip locks in 13 positions for a slim waist profile. This combo fits only the AT&T or T-Mobile 5G model (XT2071); it will not fit the Verizon RAZR variant.

Questions about this item

How do I install the two-piece hard shell on my Motorola RAZR 5G XT2071 and what step causes fit issues?

Snap the top cover onto the upper rear half and the bottom cover onto the lower rear half; the common mistake is forcing the halves together while the hinge is fully open, which prevents the clips from engaging properly.

What part of this combo will need replacement first with daily carry?

The ratchet mechanism inside the belt clip that locks into 13 positions wears over time, causing the holster to loosen its angle; the micro-fibre lining also compresses, reducing grip on the case.

What limit appears first when the holster is used continuously in one orientation?

The ratchet teeth that hold the 13 locking angles deform under constant pressure, so the clip gradually loses its ability to stay fixed in the chosen position.
