Fitted Snap-On Cover for Cricket Debut Flip

This hard-shell cover is made from rigid rubberised plastic and snaps onto the front and back of the Cricket Debut Flip or Cingular Flip 4. It adds protection against dings, drops, scuffs and scratches while keeping the handset fully functional. The slim profile maintains a pocket-friendly shape without the bulk of a pouch. All buttons, ports, camera, speaker and headset remain accessible and the flip action works normally.

Grid Texture Grip and Matte Finish

The polycarbonate shell receives a rubberised spray powder coating that creates a ribbed grid pattern for enhanced tactile grip. The matte black surface resists fingerprints so the case stays clean-looking through daily handling. The two-piece design adds negligible weight while shielding the device from everyday impacts. No moving parts or adhesives are involved, so the cover stays secure without affecting hinge operation.

Compatibility Limited to Two Flip Models

This cover fits only the Cricket Debut Flip phone and the AT&T Cingular Flip IV flip phone. It will not fit any other Alcatel handset or any smartphone form factor. Buyers with a different model must look for a case made specifically for that device. The part number DEBUT-GRID-BLACK identifies this exact fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the two-piece snap-on cover on my Cricket Debut Flip without cracking the shell?

Align the front shell over the screen half and the rear shell over the keypad half, then press each corner until you hear a click; the hinge cut-out must sit flush or the shells will bind when you flip the phone.

What part of the Grid Case is most likely to wear out first and need replacement?

The rubberized spray coating on the polycarbonate shells will gradually lose its grip texture, especially along the ribbed grid edges that contact pockets and fingers daily.

At what point does the case stop protecting the phone during repeated drops?

The rigid polycarbonate shells absorb impact until a corner clip snaps or the material cracks; once a clip breaks the cover no longer stays seated and the phone is exposed.
