Slim Hard Shell for Flip Phones

The Nakedcellphone Grid Texture Hard Case is a two-piece rigid rubberized plastic cover that snaps onto the front and back panels of the Consumer Cellular Iris Easy Flip (SL006D, 2024) and the Boost Mobile Summit Flip 4G. It adds a protective layer against impact, dings, scuffs and scratches while keeping the handset fully functional. Precise cutouts allow access to every button, port and the flip mechanism.

Built for Daily Carry, Not Rugged Abuse

The slim, lightweight profile adds minimal bulk so the phone still slides into a pocket, and the matte anti-fingerprint finish with ribbed side panels improves grip during one-handed use. An elevated lip recesses the outer screen when the device is laid flat, preventing direct contact with surfaces. Buyers needing waterproof sealing, integrated screen protectors or military-spec drop ratings should consider other designs.

Two-Piece Snap-On Construction

The case consists of separate front and back hard polycarbonate shells treated with a powder coating for extra durability. Both pieces must snap securely into place to deliver the stated impact protection and recessed-screen benefit. Verify that your handset matches the Consumer Cellular Iris Easy Flip SL006D (2024) or Boost Mobile Summit Flip 4G before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the hard shell trap heat when the Iris Easy Flip runs all day?

The rigid rubberised plastic shell is thin and ventilated by the grid texture and cut-outs, so normal daily use does not cause noticeable heat build-up.

What must I already own for this case to fit?

You need a Consumer Cellular Iris Easy Flip (SL006D, 2024) or a Boost Mobile Summit Flip 4G; the case snaps onto that specific flip-phone body.

Will the recessed lip still protect the outer screen if I keep using the same desk dock?

Yes, the elevated trim keeps the exterior display and camera raised above flat surfaces, so the dock or table cannot scratch them.
