Precision Fit for Alcatel TCL Flip 2

This hard-shell case snaps onto the front and back of the Alcatel TCL Flip 2 (T408DL) and compatible models 4058E, 4058R and 4058G. The two-piece design wraps each panel securely while keeping the flip action completely free. It is built for owners who want drop protection without losing the classic pocketable feel of a clamshell handset.

Passive Protection and Grip

Rigid rubberised polycarbonate absorbs impact energy without any active cooling or power draw, so thermals and noise are non-existent. The matte powder coating repels fingerprints and adds a dry, tactile surface that resists slipping from fingers or smooth tables. The grid texture distributes pressure across the palm for a confident hold during calls.

Snap-On Build With Full Access

Each cover clicks into place around the perimeter, leaving precise cut-outs for every button, the charger port, speaker, headset jack, camera and the emergency quick-dial key. The raised trim recesses the outer screen to shield it from direct contact when the phone rests face-down. The slim profile adds negligible bulk so the handset still slides into tight pockets or belt pouches.

Questions about this item

How do the front and back shells snap onto the Alcatel TCL Flip 2 without blocking the hinge?

Align each shell with the front and back panels, then press firmly until the clips engage; the cutout around the hinge lets the phone flip open and closed normally.

Will the powder-coated grid texture wear smooth or peel off with daily pocket carry?

The rigid polycarbonate shell with matte powder coating resists abrasion; the grid pattern is moulded into the material, so it does not peel and maintains grip over time.

At what point does the elevated front trim stop protecting the outer screen from direct impact?

The raised bezel recesses the exterior display; protection ends if a sharp object strikes the screen surface directly or if the case cracks from a severe corner drop.
