Sonim XP7 13-position belt clip

This holster is made specifically for the Sonim XP7 (XP7700) rugged phone. The face-in design conceals the screen against the body for protection while carrying. A top latch secures the handset and releases with one hand. Dense polycarbonate with a matte finish matches the device contours.

Rotating clip and kickstand

The rear clip turns and locks in 13 different positions for vertical or horizontal wear. A low-profile shape keeps the holster close to the belt to reduce snagging. An integrated kickstand supports the phone on flat surfaces for hands-free viewing.

Polycarbonate construction limits

Thick polycarbonate adds bulk to the already large XP7 handset. The fixed face-in orientation means the screen cannot be seen while the phone is holstered. Users who prefer pocket carry or a slim profile will find this holster unsuitable.

Questions about this item

How often does the 13-position rotating clip need to be replaced?

The polycarbonate clip is built to lock securely in each of its 13 positions and does not have a scheduled replacement interval under normal use.

What stops the clip from rotating further once I have set it?

A spring-loaded detent engages at every one of the 13 indexed positions, preventing the clip from turning past the chosen angle until you deliberately pull the release.

Does the holster get hot or make noise when worn all day?

The solid polycarbonate shell has no moving parts while worn, so it produces no noise and does not generate heat against your body.
