Magnetic Fence Post Mount

The Nakedcellphone Magnetic Fence Post Mount attaches to metal fence posts at sports fields and courts. It holds a phone, Mevo Start, GoPro or similar camera via a spring-tension cradle or 25 mm screw thread. The ultra-strong magnetic base clamps to backstops, dugouts or basketball poles for hands-free recording and streaming.

Easy magnetic setup with bungee backup

Installation is a simple snap onto any ferrous post; no tools or permanent fixtures are required. Two included bungee straps add leverage when the mount is used on chain-link fencing to centre the lens in the mesh openings. A wingnut locks the ball joint once the desired angle is found, preventing drift during long sessions.

360 rotation limited by post position

The ball joint delivers 360 degree rotation and tilt, yet the final framing depends entirely on where the metal post stands relative to the action. Obstructions, fence height and distance to the field cannot be overcome by the mount itself. Users needing elevated or off-post perspectives will need a different support solution.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the mount is holding securely after attaching it to a metal fence post?

The ultra-strong magnetic bracket should grip the metal post firmly without sliding; give it a gentle tug to confirm the hold before adding your device.

What components are included and is any extra hardware required for a smartphone?

The package includes the magnetic post mount, a spring-tension phone holder with ball joint, and two bungee straps for chain-link leverage; no extra hardware is needed for a phone.

Which mounting option should I choose — the phone holder or the 1/4 inch screw — for a Mevo Start or GoPro?

Remove the phone holder and use the standard 1/4 inch screw on the bracket to attach a Mevo Start, GoPro, or other camera with a 1/4 inch thread.
