Red Tri-Shield Case for LG Xpression Plus 2

This fitted rugged case fits the LG Xpression Plus 2 and compatible models including LG Harmony 3, LG K40, LG Solo, LG K12 Plus and LG X4. A two-layer construction uses a red TPU rubber inner skin and a black textured polycarbonate outer shell. Reinforced corners and an elevated lip protect the screen and camera from direct impact. The case covers volume and power buttons while keeping all ports accessible.

Upgrade from basic shells to military-tested drop

The hybrid design meets MIL-STD 810G-516.6 drop-test standards, absorbing shocks that would crack a thin silicone skin. Buyers moving from a single-layer cover gain reinforced corners and a matte grip texture that resists fingerprints. The built-in metal kickstand adds hands-free horizontal viewing for video or alarm-clock use. This jump is worth it when daily drops are a real risk.

Kickstand and lanyard add function but limit

The integrated metal kickstand only supports landscape orientation on flat surfaces; it cannot prop the phone vertically. A detachable lanyard strap clips to any of four corner anchors for neck or wrist carry, but the combined thickness of the dual layers and the kickstand mechanism makes the bundle too bulky for tight trouser pockets. Wireless charging is not supported through the case.

Questions about this item

Does the case need any specific clearance for the built-in metal kickstand to deploy?

The kickstand folds flush against the back; when opened it props the phone horizontally on any flat surface without extra clearance beyond the case thickness.

How do I attach the detachable lanyard strap, and which mistake should I avoid?

Thread the loop through any of the four corner anchor points and pull the strap through its own loop; do not force it into the charging port or speaker grilles.

Will the TPU inner layer or polycarbonate shell degrade and need replacement over time?

The TPU may yellow or lose elasticity after prolonged UV exposure, and the polycarbonate can develop hairline cracks from repeated severe impacts; replace the case if corner reinforcement feels compromised.
