Tri-Shield Rugged Case for LG K40 Series

This hybrid case combines a flexible TPU inner layer with a hard polycarbonate shell to protect LG K40, Solo, K12 Plus and X4 models. It adds a built-in metal kickstand and a detachable lanyard strap that clips to any corner. The matte, ribbed texture resists fingerprints and improves grip during daily use.

Upgrade from basic shells when drop protection

The case meets military standard MIL-STD 810G-516.6 with reinforced corners that absorb shock from accidental drops. Elevated lips recess the screen and camera to keep glass off flat surfaces. Buyers who want a slim profile without any bulk or who prefer a folio wallet style will not find those features here.

Kickstand and strap limits on a polycarbonate hybrid

The metal kickstand only props the phone in a horizontal orientation for desk viewing. The lanyard strap attaches to four corner anchors but adds length that may catch on tight pockets. Port cutouts remain accessible, though the button moulds require slightly more pressure to actuate than bare buttons.

Questions about this item

Does the Tri-Shield case add bulk that blocks the LG K40 charging port?

The case moulds around every port so the USB socket, headphone jack and speakers stay fully accessible without removing the cover.

How do you attach the lanyard strap without tearing the corner anchors?

Thread the loop through any of the four reinforced corner slots and pull the strap end back through its own loop until it cinches tight.

Will the kickstand hinge loosen after repeated opening?

The metal kickstand is riveted to the polycarbonate shell; normal desktop use does not degrade the pivot.
