National 3 In. Non-Mortise Hinge Bright Brass 2

This pack contains two steel hinges with a bright brass finish. They are designed for bi-fold doors or similar applications. The non-mortise design allows surface mounting without recessing the frame. Installation is straightforward for typical interior door projects.

Practical limits of surface-mounted non-mortise

Surface mounting adds the hinge thickness to the door gap, which can affect alignment on tight clearances. The fixed 3 in. size suits standard residential doors but may not fit heavier or oversized panels. Bright brass finish can show wear over time in high-traffic areas. Buyers needing adjustable tension or concealed mounting should consider other hinge types.
