Non-Mortise Hinge Pair for Doors

This two-pack supplies bright brass non-mortise hinges designed for standard interior doors and windows. The surface-mounted design eliminates the need for recessing, so installation is straightforward for DIYers and professionals alike. Bright brass finish coordinates with matching hardware throughout the home. Ideal for renovation projects where quick fitting matters.

Steel Construction With Brass Finish

Steel core provides structural strength while the bright brass coating resists everyday wear and corrosion. Non-rising pin keeps the hinge leaves aligned during repeated opening and closing cycles. No mortising means no chiselling, reducing labour and dust on the job site. Suitable for light-to-medium residential traffic.

Questions about this item

How do I install the non-mortise hinge on my door, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Align the hinge leaf flush with the door edge and frame surface since no mortise cut is needed; the step people get wrong is driving screws before confirming the door swings clear of the frame stop.

What maintenance will the bright brass finish need over time?

The bright brass surface will naturally patina; clean occasionally with a soft cloth and mild brass polish to restore shine, and lubricate the pin annually with light oil to prevent squeaking.
