Three-Person Capacity

The Naturehike Cloud Up 3 is a three-person freestanding dome tent designed for backpacking. It weighs 6.3 lb and packs to 16.9" x 6.7". The shelter uses 210T ripstop polyester with a PU 3000 mm coating on the fly and floor, while the footprint offers a PU 5000 mm rating. Aluminum alloy poles and 7075 aluminum stakes support the structure.

Three-Season Waterproof Standard

The PU 3000 mm coating on the fly and floor defines the waterproof limit for sustained rain. Sealed seams and six reflective guy lines add wind stability, but the fabric rating sets the practical ceiling for heavy downpours. The single door and two mesh windows manage airflow within the double-wall design. The B3 mesh inner tent cannot block driven rain without the fly.

116.1-Inch Length Headroom

The 116.1" length and 82.7" width give three adults sleeping space or a generous layout for two with gear. The 45.3" peak height allows sitting upright in the centre. The footprint adds ground protection without increasing packed size. A solo user gains maximum room, while a fourth person would exceed the stated occupancy.

Questions about this item

How much living space does the 116.1"L x 82.7"W x 45.3"H interior give three people?

The floor measures 116.1 by 82.7 inches with 45.3 inches of headroom, so three sleepers fit shoulder-to-shoulder or two campers gain generous gear room.

What does the PU 3000mm coating on the 210T polyester actually handle in the field?

A 3000 mm hydrostatic-head rating on the fly, floor and inner tent means sustained rain and wind-driven spray bead off without leaking through the fabric.

How do the Yuksom 8.5 mm aluminum poles and 7075 stakes perform when guying out the 16.9" x 6.7" packed tent?

The 8.5 mm pole diameter and 7075 alloy stakes keep the dome rigid in gusts, while six 2 mm reflective guy-lines lock the 16.9 x 6.7 inch packed footprint securely to the ground.
