Heat-resistant set for everyday cooking

The NAVITHOUS oven mitts and pot holders are designed for home cooks who need reliable protection when handling hot cookware. The set includes two mitts and two pot holders, all rated for temperatures up to 500 °F. They suit baking, grilling and general kitchen tasks where steady grip and burn prevention matter.

Cotton blend limits direct flame exposure

The mitts use a cotton blend with a silicone coating that resists heat up to 500 °F but is not rated for open flames or prolonged contact with heating elements. Machine washing is supported, though repeated high-heat cycles may degrade the silicone texture over time. The 11.06x7.48 inch mitts and 7.8x7.08 inch holders fit average adult hands but offer less coverage for very large hands or heavy roasting pans.

Replaces single mitts or thin cloth holders

This set upgrades from a single oven mitt or basic cloth pot holders by adding a second mitt and two silicone-grip holders for two-handed lifts. The jump is worth it when you regularly move full sheet pans, Dutch ovens or grill grates and need secure grip on both hands. It does not replace professional foundry gloves or aluminised gear for extreme radiant heat.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the mitts and the pot holders in this set?

The mitts measure 11.06x7.48 inches and cover your hand and forearm, while the pot holders are 7.8x7.08 inches and work as flat pads for quick grabs or trivets. Both have hanging loops.

What does the 500 °F rating mean when I am actually cooking?

The cotton blend and silicone coating insulate up to 500 °F, so you can lift hot trays, grill grates or cast iron without feeling the heat through the fabric.

How does the silicone grip perform on wet or oily pans?

The textured silicone pattern keeps baking sheets, pots and pans from sliding even when surfaces are damp or greasy.
