Zoom lens for NP-PH1000U and NP-PH1400U projectors

The NEC NP26ZLR is a replacement zoom lens designed exclusively for the NP-PH1000U and NP-PH1400U installation projectors. It provides the optical assembly required to project images from these specific models onto a screen or surface.

Lens shift and lens memory simplify setup

This accessory adds horizontal and vertical lens shift capabilities, allowing the installer to position the image geometrically without moving the projector chassis. Integrated lens memory stores shift, zoom and focus settings, enabling quick recall for different screen formats or aspect ratios during multi-purpose use.

Throw ratio range 1.39 to 1.87 covers

The variable focal length supports throw distances defined by the 1.39-1.87:1 ratio, suitable for typical conference-room and auditorium mounting positions. It does not support ultra-short-throw or long-throw scenarios beyond this range, so venues requiring wider or tighter projection geometry will need a different lens option.

Questions about this item

Will the NP26ZLR lens need periodic cleaning or replacement of optical elements?

The lens is a sealed optical assembly with no user-serviceable parts; only the exterior glass surfaces require occasional dusting with a lens brush or microfibre cloth.

At which throw-ratio limit does the NP26ZLR reach its maximum zoom extension first?

The telephoto end of the 1.39-1.87:1 range marks the longest focal length, so that limit is reached before the wide-angle end when zooming in.

Does the NP26ZLR add audible fan noise or increase the projector's power draw during all-day operation?

The lens contains no moving electronics or cooling system, so it adds no fan noise and draws no additional power beyond the projector's own consumption.
