Questions about this item

Does the RMT-PJ40 remote control arrive with batteries included or do I need to supply them?

The package contains only the RMT-PJ40 handset itself; batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

Is the RMT-PJ40 the only remote that works with the NP-PA1004UL-B and NP-PA1004UL-W projectors?

Yes, the RMT-PJ40 is the dedicated replacement remote listed for both the NP-PA1004UL-B and NP-PA1004UL-W models.

How far away can I stand from the NP-PA1004UL projector and still have the RMT-PJ40 register commands?

The RMT-PJ40 uses infrared, so it requires a clear line of sight to the projector’s IR sensor; typical indoor range is several metres.
