Genuine NEC NP-U310W DMD chip

This genuine NEC DMD chip is a replacement accessory for the NP-U310W projector. It restores image quality when the original digital micromirror device has failed. The part is supplied new and has been extensively tested to project a clear image with no dead pixels. Installation returns the projector to reliable operation.

Compatibility with NP-U310W projector

The single specification that decides fit is exact compatibility with the NEC NP-U310W model. This OEM component matches the original chip used in that projector. It will not work in other projectors or different NEC series. Verify the model number on your unit before ordering to avoid a mismatch.

Tested for clear projection quality

Each chip is tested at least three times to confirm a clean image without dead pixels. Normal power draw and thermal behaviour follow the original projector design because the part is an OEM equivalent. No additional cooling or power changes are required after installation.

Questions about this item

What does the 310 in the NP-U310W model number tell me about this DMD chip once it is installed?

The 310 identifies the projector series this chip was built for; it restores native resolution and brightness only in that series.

Which interface or standard does this DMD chip use, and what does it limit in practice?

The chip connects through the projector's proprietary DMD socket, so it only works in the exact optical engine designed for the NP-U310W.

What physical space or mounting points does this chip need to fit inside the projector?

It seats directly into the factory DMD socket on the optical block; no extra brackets or adapters are required.
