NEC NP43ZL Long-Throw Zoom Lens

The NEC NP43ZL is a long-throw zoom lens designed for compatible NEC projectors. It enables installation at greater distances from the screen while maintaining image size. This accessory suits venues such as auditoriums, lecture halls or houses of worship where the projector must be mounted far back. It supports flexible placement for professional AV integrators and facility managers.

Throw Distance and Projector Compatibility

The long-throw design requires substantial depth between the lens and the projection surface, limiting use in shallow rooms or rear-projection setups with limited space. Zoom adjustment provides some focal-length flexibility, but the optical range is fixed to long-throw ratios. Compatibility is restricted to the listed PA series models including PA653U, PA653UL, PA703W, PA803U, PA853W and PA903X.
