Shin chan Summer Adventure Game

This downloadable PC adventure from Neos Corp places players in a hand-drawn Japanese countryside for a seven-day summer vacation. Released on 30 August 2022, the title blends exploration, creature collection and light mystery as Shinnosuke uses a strange camera to document wildlife and uncover the secrets of Professor Akuno. Activation requires a Steam account and the supplied online game code.

Ideal for casual explorers, not competitive players

The experience suits anyone who enjoys relaxed, story-driven gameplay with Japanese voice acting and subtitles in eight languages including English, German and Spanish. Players seeking fast-paced action, multiplayer modes or deep strategic systems will not find them here; the design focuses on daily routines, gentle puzzles and atmospheric discovery rather than challenge or replayable leaderboards.

Steam DRM decides platform compatibility

Because the game uses Steam as its sole DRM and distribution layer, the purchase delivers a digital code that must be redeemed inside the Steam client on Windows. Buyers without a Steam account or those who require a DRM-free installer cannot use this version; the single specification that determines suitability is the mandatory Steam activation step.

You need a Windows PC with internet access and a free Steam account to redeem the code and download the game.

Will this 2022 release run on an older PC I keep for retro titles?
