26-port Gigabit PoE+ smart switch with 24 PoE+ ports, 2 SFP uplinks and a 380 W PoE budget for IP cameras, phones and access points
The Netgear GS724TPP-300NAS is a manageable Layer 4 switch that delivers 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports plus two SFP uplink slots in a rack-mountable chassis. It is built for small-business networks that need to power VoIP phones, IP cameras and wireless access points from a single device. Optional Insight cloud management adds remote configuration without an on-premise controller.
The 380 W power budget is shared across all 24 PoE+ ports, so every connected device receives power simultaneously without oversubscription. Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) reduces idle consumption, while the internal supply draws up to 446.70 W at the wall to sustain the full PoE allocation during extended operation.
The unit measures 1.7 in high, 17.3 in wide and 8 in deep, so verify that your rack or desktop space accommodates those dimensions before ordering. Uplink expansion uses standard SFP transceivers, which are not included; confirm the fibre type and distance you need to select the correct modules.

The switch draws 446.70 W at full load, so that amount of heat must be dissipated by the rack or desktop airflow where it is installed.
The 24 RJ45 ports accept standard twisted-pair cable up to 100 metres; the two SFP slots take mini-GBIC modules for fibre uplinks.
Each RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Base-T, so legacy 10/100 devices connect and receive PoE+ power without extra configuration.
