NETGEAR ProSafe YS25-0402T 6-port network switch 4×2.5G 2×10G

Six-port 2.5G and 10G switch

The NETGEAR ProSafe YS25-0402T is a six-port unmanaged Ethernet switch with four 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports and two 10 Gbps RJ45 ports. It delivers a non-blocking switching capacity of 60 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 44.64 Mpps. The metal enclosure is fanless and supports wall mounting. It operates from an external 100 to 240 V AC power supply.

Home offices and small businesses needing

This switch suits users who want to connect 2.5 Gbps NAS devices, 10 Gbps servers or 2.5 Gbps PCIe adapters without configuring management software. The one-key VLAN mode isolates the four 2.5 Gbps ports from each other while keeping uplink access, useful for separating traffic from access points or IP cameras. Buyers who require managed features such as SNMP, port mirroring or link aggregation should look at a managed model instead.

60 Gbps switching capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 60 Gbps non-blocking switching capacity. It determines whether the switch can handle simultaneous 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps flows without congestion. If your aggregated traffic stays below this ceiling the switch will perform as specified; if you need higher aggregate throughput you need a switch with a larger fabric.
