Netis 24-port Gigabit unmanaged switch

The Netis ST3124GS is a 24-port Gigabit unmanaged switch built for small offices or workgroups that need straightforward wired connectivity. It requires no configuration and begins forwarding traffic as soon as devices are connected.

24 RJ45 ports with 10/100/1000M speeds

Twenty-four RJ45 ports each handle 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX. MAC address self-learning builds the forwarding table automatically. Full duplex is supported at all speeds; half duplex is available at 10 and 100 Mbps. The switch runs out of headroom when aggregate traffic exceeds the non-blocking fabric capacity or when managed features such as VLANs or QoS are required.

Steel rack-mount case with passive cooling

A standard 19-inch rack-mountable steel enclosure houses the switch without any internal fans, so operation is silent. IEEE 802.3X flow control manages congestion in full-duplex mode while back-pressure handles half-duplex flow. Power draw stays low because the unmanaged design omits processing overhead found in managed units.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 RJ45 ports auto-negotiate with my older 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps devices?

Yes, each port handles 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDIX so legacy gear connects without crossover cables.

How can I verify the switch is forwarding traffic correctly once racked?

Link and activity LEDs on every port show connection speed and data flow, confirming normal operation at a glance.

Does the package include rack-mount brackets for a 19-inch cabinet?

The steel case is built for standard 19-inch mounting; brackets are integrated so no extra hardware is needed.
