Adhesive Stand for 10–17 in Laptops

The New True Path CYD100 is a silver aluminium-alloy stand that bonds to the underside of laptops from 10 to 17 inches. It folds into a slim profile and unfolds in seconds to create a 15–25 degree gap for passive cooling during home or office use.

Surface and Clearance Check

Ensure the laptop base is flat, clean and free of rubber feet or vents where the adhesive will sit. The stand measures 8.34 in by 1 in by 0.24 in, so verify there is enough unobstructed area for the pad and that the folded height does not interfere with a sleeve or docking station.

Thermals Noise and Power

The open gap allows air to circulate naturally beneath the device, lowering surface temperature without fans or external power. Aluminium construction conducts heat away from the chassis, while silicone feet keep the assembly stable and silent on the desk.

Questions about this item

Does the CYD100 package include the adhesive strips or must I buy them separately?

The pack ships with one double-sided tape set already applied and a second set supplied as a spare, so no extra purchase is needed.

How do I decide between the 5 cm and 8 cm height settings on this stand?

Choose the 5 cm low angle for extended typing comfort, or the 8 cm high angle when you want the screen at eye level to reduce neck strain.

What does the 15-25 degree gap mean for my laptop's temperature in daily use?

The gap lets air circulate naturally beneath the aluminium body, helping heat escape without a fan and keeping the chassis cooler during long sessions.
