Product identity and intended user

The Newborn 377 X-Tender Deluxe is a 29 oz caulk gun designed for dispensing standard cartridges. Its half-barrel steel frame and smooth-rod plunger suit professional contractors and serious DIY users who apply sealants regularly.

Deciding specification — thrust ratio

A 10:1 thrust ratio delivers the mechanical advantage needed for medium-viscosity materials. This ratio determines whether the tool can handle the specific sealants you use without excessive hand force.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a manual hand tool, the gun produces no operational heat, draws no power and generates no motor noise. The only sound comes from the trigger mechanism and material flowing through the spout.

Questions about this item

How much force does the 10:1 thrust ratio actually deliver on a cartridge?

The 10:1 ratio multiplies hand force ten times, so moderate pressure on the trigger moves thick material steadily through a 29 oz cartridge.

What does the 45 in length mean for reach and storage?

The 45 in extended barrel reaches deep joints and high seams without a ladder, yet collapses to half-barrel length for toolbox storage.

Will the half-barrel steel frame fit a standard 29 oz cartridge?

Yes, the half-barrel steel frame is sized for 29 oz cartridges and includes a puncture tool and spout cutter for immediate use.
