  • Smooth-rod plunger delivers consistent flow and clean cut-off
  • Includes twin Hytrel cup and three nozzles for multi-chemical compatibility

Purpose and user

The Newborn 620-AL-BLACK is a full-barrel caulk gun built for 24 oz sausage packs. Its 18:1 thrust ratio suits professionals applying high-viscosity sealants and adhesives on a daily basis.

Thrust and container limits

The 18:1 ratio delivers strong force but requires steady hand pressure for thick materials. Only 24 oz sausage packs fit the barrel; standard cartridges or larger packs cannot be used with this frame.

Build and daily use

Aluminium barrel and metal frame resist solvent exposure and jobsite wear. The smooth-rod plunger and standard grip give predictable flow control, while the included twin Hytrel cup and three plastic nozzles cover multi-chemical jobs without extra parts.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24 oz sausage-pack model or a smaller cartridge gun?

The 620-AL-BLACK is built for 24 oz sausage packs and includes a multi-chemical resistant twin Hytrel cup plus three plastic nozzles, so pick it when you regularly use that container size.

What does the 18:1 thrust ratio deliver on the job?

An 18:1 ratio means each pound of hand force becomes 18 pounds at the plunger, letting you push thick sealants through the aluminium barrel with far less effort.

How does the smooth-rod plunger and full-barrel frame affect dispensing control?

The smooth rod and full aluminium barrel give steady, drip-free flow on sausage packs, while the standard grip keeps the gun balanced during long beads.
