Two-pack door curtains for 32 x 80 inch openings

This set includes two magnetic thermal curtains sized to cover doorways measuring 32 by 80 inches. Each panel measures about 36 inches wide by 82 inches high for full overlap. The gray cotton, polyester and polyvinyl chloride construction suits indoor and outdoor entries such as kitchens, bedrooms, porches or balconies.

Thermal layer reduces drafts and noise

Thickened windproof oxford cloth with polyester fiber cotton filling blocks cold air in winter and retains cooled air in summer. The insulation also dampens outside sound for a quieter room. A transparent PVC window panel lets light through and prevents collisions when passing through.

Hook mounting and magnetic centre closure

Included hooks allow straightforward installation on the door frame. Magnets running down the middle seal the opening automatically after each pass. The fabric weighs roughly 2.971 kilograms per pair and packs to 7.48 by 16.92 by 10.43 inches for storage.

Questions about this item

How do you install the 36 x 82 inch curtain on a 32 x 80 inch door frame using the included hooks?

Position the curtain so the extra 4 inches in width and 2 inches in height overlap the frame evenly, then press the supplied hooks into the door surround at the top and sides; the step most people miss is checking the overlap before securing the hooks so the magnetic centre seals without gaps.

What upkeep will the PVC window panels and cotton-polyester fabric need over time?

Wipe the clear PVC windows with a damp cloth to keep visibility high, and machine-wash the cotton-polyester blend on a gentle cycle when the fabric collects dust or pet hair; the magnetic strips stay sewn in and do not need separate care.

At what point does the magnetic centre seal start to fail under constant daily traffic?

The magnets are designed for frequent passage, but after several months of heavy use the attraction can weaken enough that the two panels no longer snap shut automatically, leaving a small gap at the centre seam.
