The Nexanic S6 is a cordless 1D barcode reader built for retail staff, warehouse pickers and mobile payment operators who need to scan paper labels and on-screen codes. It connects through a 2.4 GHz USB receiver or a wired USB cable, so it works with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices without driver installation.

Sustained scanning performance

A built-in 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the scanner for extended shifts, while the 256 K onboard memory can store between 2000 and 5000 Code39 codes when the host is out of range. The 2500-pixel sensor maintains a 120 scans-per-second rate at a 5 mil resolution, and the 650 nm LED illumination handles a minimum 30 percent print contrast without overheating during continuous use.

2.4 GHz wireless range and storage limits

The radio link reaches up to 50 metres in clear line of sight and a practical 30 metres in typical indoor environments, letting operators move freely around a checkout or stockroom. When the connection drops, the internal buffer holds thousands of scans until the scanner reconnects, after which data transfers over the same USB interface. The scanner does not support 2D symbologies, so users needing QR or Data Matrix capture will need a different device.
