Questions about this item

Which grill model numbers must I already own for this NEX05000737A1 caster to fit?

The caster fits 44 KitchenAid models such as 720-0745D and 730-0953M, 38 Nexgrill models including 720-0953L and 720-0856V, plus two KitchenAid Old models 720-0893 and 720-0856, and model 720-1068.

Will this caster work on the older KitchenAid 720-0893 and 720-0856 grills I still use?

Yes, the part is listed for KitchenAid Old models 720-0893 and 720-0856, so it will mount on those grills alongside the newer compatible models.

How can I verify the brake engages correctly after installing the caster?

After mounting, push the grill gently; the brake lever should lock the wheel firmly so the unit does not roll, confirming the swivel caster with brake is functioning as intended.
