Replacement valve for 720-0697 and 720-0697B

This new main and side gas valve replaces part number NEX1146129 on Grill Master and Nexgrill models sold at Lowes between 2010 and 2012. It fits the 720-0697, 720-0697B and 720-0737 appliances across several brand listings.

Direct swap with visual differences

Installation follows the original valve mounting points and gas line connections for the listed models. The replacement may not look identical to the factory valve because two different styles exist, but either style functions correctly on the approved grills.

Limited to specific legacy grill models

This part only supports the older 720 and 737 series grills from the 2010 to 2012 retail period. It will not fit newer Nexgrill appliances or models outside the documented compatibility list.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 09000509A0 gas valve is working correctly after installing it on my 720-0697 grill?

Turn the gas supply on, check all connections for leaks with soapy water, then light each burner; steady blue flames at both main and side burners confirm proper operation.

What comes in the box with the NEX09000509A0 valve and what extra parts might I need?

The package contains the main/side gas valve only; you may need new flex lines, fittings or mounting hardware if the originals are worn or do not match the replacement valve.

Which valve version should I choose for a Grill Master 720-0697 Lowes (2010-2012) model?

The 09000509A0 replaces the earlier NEX1146129 and fits the 720-0697 Lowes (2010-2012); the supplier notes two styles exist but either will work.
