Questions about this item

How often will the 14 1/4 inch main burner need replacement under normal grilling use?

A stainless steel burner of this size typically lasts several seasons; replace it when flames become uneven or the ports show heavy corrosion.

What is the first sign that the burner is reaching its heat-output limit during a long cook?

Flames will turn yellow or lift off the ports, and the grill will struggle to hold its target temperature.

Does the burner run louder or hotter than the original after it has been firing all day?

It operates at the same sound level and surface temperature as the factory part because the dimensions and port pattern match the 720-0719B specification.
