Upgrade From Worn Grids

The grid replaces a damaged or corroded original cooking surface on the listed models. The jump is worth it when the existing grid shows heavy rust, flaking porcelain or warping that affects heat distribution. It restores the cooking area without needing a full appliance replacement.

Suitable For Direct Replacement

This part suits owners of the specific Nexgrill and Perfect Flame models named above who need a direct-fit grid. Buyers with different grill brands or model numbers should look elsewhere, as fitment is not guaranteed. It is not intended for custom fabrication or universal adaptation.

Questions about this item

Will the 19 by 12 porcelain grid fit my 780-0016B grill without modification?

Yes, the grid is listed as a direct fit for models 780-0016B and 780-0017A, matching the original dimensions.

How do I install the replacement grid and what step is often missed?

Lift out the old grid, set the new porcelain grid onto the same ledge, and ensure it sits flat across the full 19 by 12 surface.

How long does the porcelain coating last before it needs replacing?

The porcelain finish resists rust under normal grilling heat; replace the grid if chips expose bare metal or the coating flakes.
