Replaces the main burner igniter wire on compatible Jenn Air and Nexgrill models with a straight tip
The NEXGRILL 208606 Main Burner Igniter Wire (B) is an aftermarket component designed to restore ignition function on compatible gas grills. It serves owners of specific Jenn Air and Nexgrill models who need a direct substitute for the original equipment. The straight-tip design matches the factory configuration for proper fitment.
This igniter wire carries the spark from the ignition module to the main burner electrode during normal start-up. It operates only when the igniter button is pressed, drawing minimal current for brief periods. The component generates no heat or noise of its own and requires no external power source beyond the grill's existing ignition system.
The wire fits Jenn Air models 720-0337, 730-0337, 720-0339 and 720-0512, plus Nexgrill models 730-0339NG, 720-0337, 730-0339, 720-0339, 720-0512, 730-0512 and 730-0337NG. It replaces part number 204411 directly. Grills outside these listed model numbers will not accept this part, so verifying the exact model is essential before installation.

Disconnect power, route the wire through the same clips as the old one, then push the straight tip firmly into the burner electrode until it clicks — the step most people miss is not seating the tip fully, which leaves a gap that prevents sparking.
The wire itself has no service interval; replace it only if the insulation cracks, the connector corrodes, or the grill fails to light after confirming the electrode and module are working.
The ceramic electrode tip overheats before the wire does, so prolonged high-heat use can degrade the electrode and stop the spark even though the wire remains intact.
