Direct Replacement Door Magnet

The Nexgrill 05000010A0 door magnet is a genuine replacement part designed for specific grill models. It restores the secure door seal needed for consistent heat retention during cooking. Compatible units include the 720, 783, 810, 882, 896, 958, 8410 and 8501 series grills.

Passive Operation With No Power Draw

This magnetic catch operates mechanically without any electrical connection or moving parts that generate noise. It requires no power supply and adds zero thermal load to the appliance. The component simply holds the door closed through magnetic attraction during normal use.

Upgrades Worn Or Missing Original Catch

The part replaces a factory door magnet that has lost holding strength or gone missing over time. The upgrade is worth it when the grill door no longer stays firmly shut, allowing heat to escape. It is not for buyers needing a latch mechanism, a handle assembly or a full door gasket kit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 05000010A0 door magnet and what step is often missed?

Remove the old magnet, clean the mounting surface so no grease remains, then press the new magnet firmly into the same recess; the step most people skip is thoroughly degreasing the area before fitting the replacement.

What maintenance or replacement will the 05000010A0 door magnet need over time?

The magnet itself requires no scheduled maintenance; if the door seal loosens, wipe the magnet and frame clean, and replace the part only when cleaning no longer restores a tight closure.

What limit appears first on the 05000010A0 door magnet during sustained high-heat use?

Prolonged exposure to grill temperatures can gradually weaken the magnetic field, so the holding force drops before the magnet material cracks or physically degrades.
