Replacement Grease Cup for Select Grills

This new grease cup replaces the original drain container on compatible KitchenAid and Nexgrill gas grills. It fits eight KitchenAid models including the 740-0780 and 740-0781 series sold at Lowe's, Home Depot and Sears during 2013 and 2014. It also fits eight Nexgrill models such as the 740-0004, 740-0780GH and 740-0781K. The part number is 20002434A0 and it is sold individually.

Durable Steel Construction Handles Heat

The cup sits directly beneath the grill's grease management system to catch drippings during extended cooking sessions. Its metal body resists warping when exposed to sustained high temperatures from repeated use. The simple drop-in design allows the cup to be removed, emptied and reinstalled without tools so the grill stays clean during long barbecues.

Verify Your Grill Model Before Ordering

Confirm that your grill's model number appears in the supported lists above before purchasing this replacement part. The cup is not universal and will not fit grills outside the specified KitchenAid and Nexgrill series. Buyers who need a different capacity or a cup for another brand should look for the correct part number for their specific appliance.

Questions about this item

Does the grease cup get hot or create any noise during long grilling sessions?

The grease cup is a passive metal tray that collects drippings; it has no moving parts, no electrical connection and therefore produces no noise or heat of its own.

Which grill models must I already own for this part to fit?

It fits KitchenAid models 740-0780, 740-0781, 750-0781 and 740-0005, plus Nexgrill models 740-0004, 740-0781, 740-0005, 740-0781K, 740-0780, 740-0780GH, 740-0781B and 740-0780B.

Will the cup align with the mounting points on a 2013 KitchenAid 740-0780?

Yes, the 2013 KitchenAid 740-0780 is listed among the compatible models, so the cup will sit in the original grease-cup opening.
