Nextbase 422GW Dash Cam Case

This case is designed to hold the Nextbase 422GW dash cam and its Click&Go Pro powered mount. It suits drivers who want a compact 2.5 inch touch-screen camera with 1440p recording, Alexa, Wi‑Fi, GPS and emergency SOS features. The kit includes the camera, mount, cigarette power cable and instructions. It protects the unit when it is not mounted on the windscreen.

Commuters wanting wireless removal

Buyers who need a hard-shell case with custom foam cut-outs for extra impact protection should look elsewhere, as this is a soft carry pouch. Drivers who require dual-channel front and rear recording will not find that capability here. The product is aimed at single-camera use with the supplied Click&Go Pro mount.

Simple slip-in storage with zip closure

Place the camera and mount inside the pouch and zip it shut; no tools or assembly are required. The main issue is forgetting to unplug the cigarette power cable before zipping, which can strain the connector. Ensure the touch screen faces away from the zipper to avoid pressure marks on the 2.5 inch display.

Questions about this item

Does the Click&Go Pro mount leave the cigarette lighter socket free for another device?

The included Click&Go Pro mount runs power through the mount itself, so the 422GW dash cam draws power without occupying the socket for other accessories.

Will the 2.5 inch 1440p touch screen be readable alongside an older non-IPS dash cam display?

The IPS panel on the 422GW provides increased picture resolution, clarity and wider viewing angles compared with older non-IPS screens.

How can I confirm the Intelligent Parking Mode is active after I set up the camera?

When the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off, the camera will automatically record any detected impact or motion, and the footage will be marked as a Parking Mode event in the file list.
