Copper reducing coupling for plumbing systems

This straight reducing coupling joins 2 1/2 inch copper tube to 1 inch copper tube using a sweat connection on the larger end and a cup connection on the smaller end. It is built from wrot copper and suits air, gases and potable water lines in residential and commercial installations.

Rated for 269 psi at 200 Degrees F

The fitting handles typical hot and cold water pressures with ample headroom for standard domestic and light commercial systems. It reaches its pressure limit at elevated temperature, so applications above 200 Degrees F must stay within the 269 psi ceiling to avoid overstressing the joint.
