Copper reducing tee for potable water systems
This NIBCO 611RR reducing tee connects three copper tubes using sweat fittings. The run accepts 1-1/4 inch tube on both ends while the branch drops to 3/4 inch. It is intended for potable water installations in residential or light commercial plumbing.
Wrot copper construction with cup connections
The fitting is made from wrot copper and uses cup ends on all three sides for solder joints. Outer diameters are 1-3/8 inch on the run and 7/8 inch on the branch. Sweat connections create permanent, leak-resistant joints when installed with proper flux and solder.
No moving parts or power requirements
As a passive copper fitting it generates no heat, noise or electrical draw. Performance depends on correct soldering technique and system pressure. The component ships new and is not restricted for sale in any state.

Questions about this item
What copper tube sizes does the 611RR reducing tee connect on each side?
Side A and Side C each accept 1-1/4 in copper tube, while Side B accepts 3/4 in copper tube.
What are the tube outer diameters for the three connections on this fitting?
Side A and Side C have a 1-3/8 in outer diameter; Side B has a 7/8 in outer diameter.
How is this wrot copper tee installed, and what common step is often missed?
It is a sweat fitting, so clean and flux all three cup ends, insert the tubes fully, then heat each joint evenly until solder flows into the cup. The step often missed is heating all three connections in sequence so each joint reaches proper temperature before the solder is applied.
