90-Degree Drop Ear Elbow
The Nibco 70735RLF-3412 is a sweat fitting elbow designed for potable water systems. It connects a 3/4 inch copper tube on one side to a 1/2 inch FNPT thread on the other. The fitting is made from low-lead cast bronze grade C87850. It meets ASME B 16.18, NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 standards.
Replaces Standard Copper Elbows
This drop ear elbow replaces a standard copper elbow when a secure mounting point is required. The integrated ear allows the fitting to be fastened to a stud or blocking. The jump is worth it when installing supply lines for fixtures such as shower arms or tub spouts where movement must be prevented.
Sustained Pressure And Temperature
The bronze construction handles a maximum operating pressure of 466 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 200 degrees F. These ratings support continuous hot and cold water service without degradation. The material resists dezincification and meets low-lead requirements for safe drinking water delivery.
