This 90-degree fitting connects 1/2-inch copper tubing to a female NPT thread on sink drains or similar fixtures. The low-lead cast bronze body meets NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G for potable water use. It is intended for plumbers and DIYers joining supply lines in residential or light-commercial installations.

Slip the copper tube into the C end

Clean and deburr the 5/8-inch outside-diameter tube before insertion to avoid leaks. Apply flux and solder the cup joint using lead-free alloy; overheating can damage the bronze. The threaded FNPT side requires pipe sealant or tape — cross-threading the 1/2-inch connection is the most common error.
