  • 50 year limited manufacturer warranty backs product quality

Plumbing Reducing Tee

This NIBCO 712R cast bronze reducing tee connects three copper pipes in a residential or commercial plumbing system. It handles nondrinking water and air with a higher pressure rating than most wrot copper fittings. The dezincification resistant material helps maintain integrity over time.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your existing copper lines match the 1" x 1" x 3/4" CxCxFNPT configuration before ordering. Confirm the system pressure does not exceed the fitting's rated limits for the intended application. Ensure the joint type matches your current piping method.

Upgrade Path

This fitting replaces a standard wrot copper tee when a higher pressure rating is required for the same pipe sizes. The jump is worth it for installations demanding longer service life and dezincification resistance. A 50-yr limited manufacturer's warranty backs the upgrade.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else?

The box contains the cast bronze reducing tee only. You will need to supply your own copper pipe, solder, flux and any required adapters for the threaded branch.

How do I choose the right version of this fitting?

This model is a single configuration — 1" copper sweat on both run ends and a 3/4" female NPT branch — so there are no alternative sizes or capacities to select.

What does the 50-year limited warranty cover in practice?

It covers the fitting against defects in material and workmanship for 50 years from the date of manufacture when installed in non-drinking water or air systems per the manufacturer's terms.
