Nibco, Inc. 907 1-1/4" Copper 90 Degree Drop Elbow
Connects 1-1/4 inch copper tubes at a 90 degree angle for DWV systems, rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- 90-degree turn simplifies drain routing
- Wrot copper resists corrosion in DWV systems
- C x C connection allows direct solder joints
- Rated for -20 °F to 400 °F operating range
- Meets ASTM B75 and ASME B16.29 standards
1-1/4" Copper DWV Elbow
This 90-degree drop elbow connects copper tube in drain, waste and vent systems. The wrought copper body uses a C x C sweat connection for 1-1/4 inch nominal tube with a 1-3/8 inch outside diameter. It meets ASTM B75 Alloy C12200 and ASME B 16.29 standards for plumbing installations.
Sustained temperature and pressure range
The fitting handles continuous operating temperatures from -20 Degrees to 400 Degrees F without degradation. Maximum working pressure is rated at 5 psi, reflecting its intended use in low-pressure drainage rather than pressurised supply lines. Copper construction resists corrosion throughout this thermal envelope.
Verify tube size and application
Confirm the existing pipe is 1-1/4 inch nominal copper tube with matching outside diameter before ordering. This elbow is designed for DWV service only and is not rated for higher-pressure water supply or gas lines. Ensure local code accepts ASTM B75 and ASME B 16.29 compliance for the planned installation.

Questions about this item
Will this 90-degree drop elbow handle continuous 400-degree-F operation without heat damage?
The copper alloy C12200 construction is rated for a temperature range of -20 to 400 degrees F, so sustained high-temperature service is within its design limits.
Do I need solder and flux to join this C x C fitting to my 1-1/4-inch copper tube?
Yes, the C x C connection type requires soldering; you must supply compatible solder, flux and a torch to make the joint.
Can I connect this ASTM B75 elbow to older copper pipe that meets the same standard?
The fitting conforms to ASTM B75 and ASME B16.29, so it will mate correctly with existing copper tube built to those same standards.
