Copper Reducing Tee 3/4 x 1 Inch
This Nibco C611R reducing tee joins three copper tubes in a C x C x C sweat configuration. The run takes two 3/4 inch tubes while the branch steps up to 1 inch for distribution changes. Wrot copper construction meets ASME/ANSI B16.22 for plumbing and hydronic systems.
Sweated joint installs with standard flux and solder
Clean tube ends and fitting cups thoroughly before applying flux. Heat the joint evenly until solder flows into the cup by capillary action. Overheating can anneal the copper and weaken the joint; insufficient heat leaves voids that leak under pressure.
Suits plumbers altering copper tube sizing
The fitting handles 494 psi at 100 Degrees F and a temperature range of -20 to 400 Degrees F. Installers needing a straight coupling or a different branch reduction should select the appropriate fitting for that layout.

Questions about this item
How do I confirm the reducing tee is sealed and flowing correctly after soldering?
Pressurise the line up to 494 psi at 100 °F and check for leaks; the joint should hold within the -20 °F to 400 °F service range per ASME/ANSI B16.22.
What comes in the box and what must I supply?
The box contains the C611R wrot-copper reducing tee only; you must supply solder, flux, pipe cutter and any hangers or supports.
Which outlet size matches my 1-inch main line?
Choose the 3/4 x 3/4 x 1 in model — the 1 in outlet (1-1/8 in OD) connects directly to the main while the two 3/4 in branches (7/8 in OD) feed the smaller runs.
