1/2" Sweat Bronze Ball Valve

The Nibco S5857066 is a two-piece bronze ball valve designed for water supply lines in residential and light commercial plumbing. It installs with 1/2 inch sweat connections and features a stainless steel ball with a full-port design for unrestricted flow.

600 psi pressure rating and full-port flow

Rated for 600 psi operating pressure and 600 psi steam pressure, this valve handles standard municipal water pressure with significant headroom. The full-port stainless steel ball minimises pressure drop, but the valve is not rated for combustible gas or vacuum service.

Sweat connection for copper piping

The valve uses 1/2 inch sweat ends that require soldering to copper pipe, making it suitable for permanent inline installations. It cannot be used with threaded, compression or push-fit connections without separate adapters.
