Elegant Grey Drapes for Bedrooms

These NICETOWN blackout curtains arrive as a pair of grey polyester panels, each measuring 52 inches wide by 84 inches long. Silver grommets with a 1.6-inch inner diameter allow simple installation on most standard rods. The triple-weave fabric delivers 85 to 99 percent light blocking, creating a dark environment suited to bedrooms, nurseries or media rooms.

Thermal Insulation and Noise Reduction

The heavy, soft material acts as a thermal barrier that helps stabilise room temperature by reducing heat transfer through windows. Both sides share the same colour and finish, contributing to consistent insulation performance. The dense weave also dampens outside noise, supporting a quieter indoor atmosphere for rest or work.

Machine Washable with Coordinating Options

Panels can be machine washed in water below 86 degrees using mild detergent and no bleach, with low-temperature ironing if needed. The brand offers matching sheer voile curtains in white for layered window dressing without hunting for separate styles. Durable stitching and wrinkle-free fabric are designed to withstand years of regular use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the curtains using the 1.6-inch grommets, and what rod size mistake should I avoid?

Thread the rod through the silver grommets on each panel; use a rod no greater than 1.6 inches in diameter so the curtains slide freely.

What cleaning routine will keep the polyester fabric in good condition over time?

Machine wash in water below 86 degrees with mild detergent, no bleach, and iron at low temperature if needed.

How much light can still come through the triple-weave fabric when the curtains are fully closed?

The triple-weave material blocks about 50% to 99% of light depending on conditions, so some glow may remain at the edges.
