Velvet curtain set for living spaces

This set contains two purple velvet panels, each measuring 52 inches wide by 90 inches long from the top edge to the hem. The heavyweight fabric suits living rooms, bedrooms or sliding glass doors where a luxurious drape and reduced glare are desired. Buyers needing blackout-level darkness should note the panels only dim light rather than block it completely.

Light control and thermal limits

The velvet material impedes most incoming light to create a theatre-like atmosphere but does not achieve full blackout on its own. A separate liner can be added behind the panels to reach a higher shading level for nurseries or shift-work sleepers. The plush pile also helps dampen reflected sound and adds a degree of window insulation.

Back-tab and rod-pocket versatility

Each panel offers both a back-tab header and a rod pocket, each with a 3.3 inch inner diameter, allowing quick style changes without extra hardware. The fabric is machine washable at temperatures below 86 degrees using mild detergent and no bleach, and it tolerates quick ironing when needed. The construction is finished for long-term use in everyday home settings.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 90-inch length or one of the other available lengths?

The 90-inch length fits standard tall windows and sliding glass doors; other options include 84-inch and 96-inch lengths in the same 52-inch width.

How much light does the velvet fabric actually block in a real room?

The curtains provide light-dimming that impedes most outside light, and adding a blackout liner can block unwanted light for nurseries or bedrooms.

What rod size works with the 3.3-inch back tabs and rod pocket?

Both the back tab loops and rod pocket have a 3.3-inch inner diameter, so they fit standard curtain rods up to that diameter.
