Precise 22 lb kitchen scale
The Nicewell MQD-C018 is a countertop digital scale built for home cooks and bakers who need accurate portion control. It weighs from 3 g up to 10 kg with 1 g or 0.1 oz resolution across five units. The 9 x 6.3 in platform handles large bowls while the backlit LCD stays readable in low light.
Silent battery operation
Two included AAA alkaline batteries power the scale with no fan or motor, so it runs completely silent during use. An auto shut-off function conserves power between weighing sessions. The tempered glass and stainless steel surface resists fingerprints and wipes clean in seconds.
Tare button and hook storage
A dedicated tare key subtracts container weight instantly, giving net ingredient weight without mental math. The attached hook lets the slim 0.8 in profile hang inside a cupboard, while four non-slip feet keep the platform steady on any countertop.

Questions about this item
How do I set up the scale and what step do people often miss?
Insert the two included AAA batteries, place the scale on a flat surface, press the power button, and wait for the display to show zero before adding anything — skipping the zero-wait step gives inaccurate readings.
What will need replacement over time?
The two AAA alkaline batteries will need replacing when the backlit display dims or the auto shut-off triggers too quickly.
What limit appears first during extended weighing sessions?
The auto shut-off function turns the scale off after a period of inactivity, interrupting long tasks unless a weight change is detected.
