90L Internal Frame Backpack

The Night Cat DSB-8010-BLK is a 90 litre internal frame backpack built for extended outdoor trips. It suits men and women carrying gear for four to six day hikes or mountaineering journeys. The polyester construction includes a height adjustable torso system for a custom fit. A hydration reservoir sleeve is integrated into the main compartment.

Breathable Back Panel and Rain Protection

An ergonomic back panel uses open cell foam and mesh to move heat away from the body during sustained effort. Widened shoulder straps and a padded waist belt distribute the load across the hips. A dedicated rain cover and waterproof bag are included to keep contents dry in wet weather. The tear resistant fabric withstands abrasion on rough terrain.

Multi Compartment Layout for Organised Packing

Dimensions of 35 by 30 by 90 centimetres provide multiple storage compartments to separate clothing, shelter and cooking kit. External attachment points allow extra gear to be secured outside the main volume. The internal frame transfers weight to the hips, freeing the shoulders for better balance on technical trails. Adjustable straps accommodate a wide range of torso lengths.

Questions about this item

How do I adjust the internal frame height to fit my torso?

Loosen the shoulder-strap load lifters, slide the frame stays up or down until the hip belt sits on your iliac crest, then retighten the lifters so the frame transfers weight to the hips.

Which parts wear out first and need replacement?

The hip-belt foam padding and the rain-cover elastic hem typically compress or lose elasticity after heavy multi-day use and can be swapped separately.

At what load does the frame stop transferring weight to the hips effectively?

Around 20 kg the internal frame begins to flex and the hip belt loses rigidity, so weight shifts back onto the shoulders.
