Nikon 10-24mm DX Zoom Lens

This Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED lens fits Nikon F-mount DX-format DSLR cameras. It provides a 15-36mm equivalent focal range for wide-angle photography. The lens features three aspherical and two ED elements with Super Integrated Coating. A Silent Wave Motor drives fast, quiet autofocus.

Wide-Angle DX Shooters

Photographers needing an ultra-wide zoom for landscapes, architecture or interiors on a DX body will benefit from the 10-24mm range and bright f/3.5-4.5 maximum aperture. The rounded seven-blade diaphragm supports smooth background separation. Buyers using full-frame cameras or requiring a constant f/2.8 aperture should consider other options.

Variable f/3.5-4.5 Maximum Aperture

The aperture opens to f/3.5 at 10mm and narrows to f/4.5 at 24mm, then stops down to f/22. This variable maximum aperture determines low-light capability and depth-of-field control across the zoom range. It is the key specification for deciding if the lens matches your shooting requirements.
